A delicious community event at Christ United Methodist Church, 401 High St., Chestertown! This year's Cookie Walk is scheduled for Saturday, December 4, from 9:00 a.m. until all the cookies have been claimed. Participants will again walk along tables filled with cookie trays, selecting the ones that look yummy to them and putting them in a box provided at the door when they enter. Mount Harmon Yuletide Manor House Tour - December 04, 2010

Where: Mount Harmon Plantation, Earleville
Description: The elegant brick Georgian Manor House at Mount Harmon will be decorated for the holidays with festive wreaths and decorative arrangements, in the style of Colonial Williamsburg. Holiday decorations using greens from Mount Harmon's grounds, including boxwood, magnolia, pine, holly, and other seasonal favorites. Mount Harmon's Colonial history will come to life with hearth cooking demonstrations in the Colonial kitchen, given by costumed interpreters. Visitors will delight in sampling freshly made ginger bread cooked on the hearth and Mount Harmon's special Wassail Punch. Proceeds benefit Mount Harmon Plantation.
