Bluegrass, Country, Americana
The 16th season of Music in Fountain Park by the fountain in Historic Downtown Chestertown. Bring a blanket or chair. 7-8:30 pm, except July 3, 2010 when the concert starts early at 6:30 pm and ends at 8:00 pm in order to give people time to get to local fireworks displays. Concerts every other Saturday night, June through second weekend in September. Remaining Dates: July 3(early 6:30 pm start for this concert only), 17, & 31, Aug 14, 28, and Sept. 11. These free programs are sponsored by the Town of Chestertown with support from The Kent County Arts Council and Community Contributors. Donations may be sent to Music in Fountain Park, Town of Chestertown, 118 N. Cross Street, Chestertown, MD 21620.

Grill Master Charlie cook'n at the Fish Fry & Open House. Featuring USCT reenactors open the Flag Raising ceremony. A sneak preview of CD "Our Stories Our Songs" produced from the storytellers and local musicians gatherings at the 2009 event. Games for Kids of all ages, real Good Food, including homemade Ice Cream and Funnel Cakes, a B.Y.O blanket, tent, or chair picnic style, Zumba with Bonnie Clark stay all day Family Fun event at the 120 yrs. old one-room 'colored' schoolhouse. A treasure of 19th century photographs and artifacts.

Parking will be handled by Boy Scout Troop No. 336 from Chesapeake City.
Traffic to be handled by Rising Sun Fire Police.
Parking: $10 per car (includes air-conditioned bus transport to and from from parking location).
